Guesthouse Snjofell enjoys a picturesque location between a mystical glacier and the mountain's rugged terrain and offers simple but functional accommodation.

In the newly renovated 2-storey houses guests can choose beds or sleeping bag accommodation.

Snjofell is situated in Arnarstapi, which offers amazing natural beauty, rugged cliffs on the shoreline and abundant bird life. Nearby guests can visit numerous caves, volcanic craters and fantastic lava formations.

Snjofell's location in Arnarstapi is also an excellent base for guests to enjoy the unique and mysterious Northern lights.

The unusual and picturesque Restaurant Arnarbaer was built in the style of old turf farmsteads and was completed in 1985.

The Guesthouse Snjofell has 12 snowmobiles and 2 snow-cats that can cater for 64 people. Glacier tours of the neighbouring Snaefellsjokull Glacier can also be arranged. Here spectacular views from the Gulf of Faxafloa to Reykjavik and Keflavik can be enjoyed.
