In Midfjordur, midway between Reykjavik and Akureyri, is Hotel Edda Laugarbakki. Stay close to one of Iceland’s best salmon rivers and the natural hot springs, which heat up the entire community.

Hotel Edda Laugarbakki provides 28 rooms with wash basins and shared facilities. There’s also sleeping-bag accommodation with mattresses on the floor for 30 people in 2 classrooms. The hotel restaurant seats 80 guests.

Guests can also make use of the new sports hall.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.
